Job Description:
Support the distribution and consultant relationship managers in their effort to raise assets for the RBC GAM strategies Partner with investment teams, marketing, RFP, compliance, client services, operations to help the sales and consultant team progress opportunities and run efficient and disciplined sales processes. Salesforce power user to fine-tune architecture and functionality to local needs. Act as product manager and run competitor analysis relevant to the local markets.
Job Responsibilities:
- Recommend which pieces may be suitable for which clients
- Be a central point of contact for GAM HK for any sales/distribution related issues
- Competitor analysis – proficiency in using eVestment, Style Analytics and Morningstar to prepare analysis for members of sales/distribution. Help develop strategies such as replace or complement competitors’ strategies.
- Provide significant support to German sales representative in Frankfurt
- Contribute to the production of the Trends section of the EMEA BD monthly meeting pack and the Investment section of the Manco pack.
- Prepare finals materials/help to coordinate all aspects of finals/due diligence pitches, with high attention to detail
- Act as a ‘bridge’ between sales and marketing: Help with dissemination of papers from investment teams; proof read materials, checking all for inaccuracies
- Contribute towards the AuM and ARGS targets by supporting the European Distribution and Consultant team
Job Requirements:
- Working towards the CFA qualification
- Excellent ability to establish and work to priorities while managing multiple work streams
- Familiarity with UCITS regulated investment funds
- Previous experience in distribution of investment solutions
- Good technical market and investment management knowledge
- Excellent attention to details and
- European languages
- A self-starter, who works well under time/deadline pressures and ability to adapt quickly and work independently
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Strong business partner collaboration and relationship skills
- In time, become certified under the Senior Manager Certification Regime (SMCR)
- Knowledge of mutual fund industry, products, regulatory structure, pricing, and client / advisor needs in multiple jurisdictions
